Wash Mafia Terms of Service

1. Health & Admittance

• General Wellbeing For the safety of your pet and our staff, we only accept dogs in good general health. If your dog is elderly, pregnant, or has a chronic illness, grooming is performed strictly at the owner's risk.
• Vaccination Policy All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. Wash Mafia reserves the right to request vaccination records at any time.
• Full Disclosure Owners must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, skin allergies, or behavioral quirks prior to the appointment.
• No Sedation We strictly do not groom dogs that are under sedation.

2. Behavioral Safety

• Aggression The safety of our staff and your dog is paramount. We reserve the right to halt services or refuse entry to any dog that displays dangerous aggression.
• Handling Fees If a dog requires significant extra time or staff assistance due to nervousness or resistance, an additional handling fee may be added to the final bill.
• Owner Distraction To ensure the dog remains focused and calm, we request that owners remain out of sight while grooming is in progress.

3. Coat Condition & Pests

• Humanity Over Vanity (Matting) We strictly abide by the Animal Welfare Act. We will not inflict pain by de-matting a severely matted coat. Heavy mats will be shaved down to remove the damaged fur.
• Matting Risks Removing tight mats may reveal pre-existing skin issues (sores, hotspots, trapped moisture). Wash Mafia is not responsible for skin conditions revealed by necessary shaving, nor for minor nicks that may occur due to the skin being pulled tight by mats.
• Flea Protocol If fleas are discovered, a mandatory flea bath will be administered immediately to protect our mobile unit's sanitation standards. This incurs an automatic surcharge. We strongly recommend treating your home to prevent re-infestation.

4. Appointments & Mobile Routing

• Cancellation Policy We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide notice will result in the full appointment fee being charged.
• Mobile Route Optimization Our routes are optimized geographically to ensure we arrive on time. Last-minute changes disrupt the entire day's schedule, making short-notice replacements impossible.
• Split Sessions In cases of extreme behavior or severe coat conditions, we may require the groom to be split into two separate appointments to reduce stress on the animal.

5. Liability & Waivers

• Liability While we treat every dog with the utmost care, accidents can happen with moving animals and sharp equipment. Wash Mafia is not liable for injury or health episodes unless caused by proven gross negligence.
• Emergencies In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize Wash Mafia to seek immediate veterinary care. All resulting veterinary costs are the sole responsibility of the owner.
• Style Satisfaction We aim to groom to your exact preferences. However, the dog's comfort comes first. Minor adjustments can be requested at pickup; later complaints cannot be rectified free of charge.

6. Payments & Media

• Settlement Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the service.
• Surcharges The quoted price is an estimate. Final prices may be adjusted based on coat condition (matting), flea treatments, or extended time required for behavioral management.
• Photography You agree that Wash Mafia may use photos of your dog for our website, social media, and advertising purposes.

7. Agreement

Code of Conduct: We maintain a respectful environment. Abusive behavior towards Wash Mafia staff will result in immediate termination of services.
